The global innovation index
An annual ranking of countries by their capacity for, and success in, innovation. The GII is launched by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized agency of the United Nations. While tracking the most recent global innovation trends in the new Global Innovation Tracker, the 2021 edition also focuses on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on innovation.
